In November, Sumunar provided an Indonesian music/dance/culture residency at Linwood/Monroe Arts+ Upper School, funded by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. To culminate this experience, the Sumunar Gamelan and Dance Ensemble joined with Monroe students in a performance built on the theme of community as a joining of many identities.
